ભાત ખાઓ અને વજન ઉતારો



અમારો તો વર્ષોનો અનુભવ છે કે ભાત વધારે ખાવાનું રાખો એટલે પાંચ-છ કિલો વજન તો બે-ત્રણ 
મહિનામાં ઓછું થઈ જ જશે.વર્ષોના અનુભવના આધારે હું આ વાત માટે તારણ પર આવ્યો છું કે

) વજન વધારવા મીઠું મહત્વનો ભાગ ભજવે છે. ભાતમાં મીઠું આવતું નથી. ભાત વધારે ખાવાના 

પરિણામે મીઠાંનો વપરાશ ઓછો થાય છે. દાળ-ભાત ખાશો એટલે શાક પણ ઓછું ખવાશે એટલે પણ 
શાકનું મીઠું પણ પેટમાં ઓછું જશે.

) ઘઉંનો વપરાશ ઓછો થવાથી (અથવા હું તો કહું છું કે ત્રણ મહિના માટે ઘઉંનો
વપરાશ બંધ કરી જુઓ) ઘઉંના લોટમાંથી રોટલી-ભાખરી બનાવવા માટે જે મોણ (ઘી-તેલ) વાપરવામાં આવે છે

તે બંધ થઈ જશે. ઉપરાંત ઘણા ઘરોમાં રોટલી, ભાખરીમાં પણ મીઠું નાંખવામાં આવે છે. એ મીઠું પણ પેટમાં 
જતુ બંધ થઈ જશે.દક્ષિણ ગુજરાતમાં દેસાઈ જ્ઞાતિ બહુ જાણીતી છે. દેસાઈ લોકો એવું માને છે કે જમીને 
 ચોખાને (પેટમાં) આડા પાડવા જોઈ એ અને ચોખાને આડા પાડવા માટે એ લોકો જમીને પથારીમાં 
આડા પડે. પણ સ્વાભાવિક છે કે સવારથી કામ કરીને થાકેલું શરીર જમીને પથારીમાં આડું પડે એટલે 
ઊંઘ આવે જ. બપોરની ઊંઘ માટે બહુ સારો જાણીતો શબ્દ છે. ‘દિવાસ્વાપ’ અથવા ‘દિવાસ્વપ્ન’ 
અર્થાત્ દિવસે સ્વપ્ન જોવાં. આ બપોરની ઊંઘ વજન વધારે છે, એ નિર્વિવાદ સત્ય છે. એટલે 
 ભાત ખાવાથી વજન વધતું નથી, પરંતુ બપોરે સૂઈ જવાથી વજન વધે છે. કારણ સમજયા 
વગર ચોખાને કારણભૂત માનીને દોષનો બધો ટોપલો ચોખા પર ખોટી રીતે ચઢાવવામાં આવ્યો છે.
ડાયાબીટીસના દર્દીએ ચોખા ખાવા જોઈએ કે કેમ? એવો પ્રશ્ન વારંવાર પૂછાયો છે. ડાયાબીટીસના 
 દર્દીઓમાં પણ કાર્બોહાઈડ્રેટનું પ્રમાણ ઓછું કરવાની સલાહ આધુનિક વિજ્ઞાન આપે છે. એટલે 
 મારી સલાહ એવી છે કે ત્રણ મહિના ઘઉં બિલકુલ બંધ કરીને ફકત જુના (બે-ત્રણ વર્ષ જુના
ચોખા વાપરવામાં આવે તો પરિણામ ઘણંુ સારું આવે છે. કોઈ સંજોગોમાં બ્લડસુગર વધી 
 જવાનો ભય લાગતો હોય તો આ પ્રયોગ શરૂ કર્યા પછી દર મહિને ફકત જમ્યા પછીનો બે 
કલાકનો બ્લડસુગરનો રિપોર્ટ કરાવી જોવો. જો બ્લડસુગર વધે છે, એવો રિપોર્ટ આવે તો 
અનુભવી યોગ નિષ્ણાત ડોકટરનો સંપર્ક કરવો.

In Obesity Hypoventilation Syndrome (OHS)  blood's oxygen level decreases and carbon dioxide (CO2) level increases because to poor breathing habits. According to  National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) held  between 2003 to 2006. The study was carried out for  seven day periods to  chase  physical activity of the participants.

In National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey Researchers examined the  exercise based on the on each session. During the study participants were classified into high  intensity (more than 10 minute or low intensity (less than 10 minute) .
