Obesity in children is associated with metabolic diseases

Obesity in children is associated with metabolic diseases. This leads to  diabetes and  blood pressure. The study was conducted in five cities of around 10,842 children. According to times of India news released in google.

Dr. Archana Dayal Arya, paediatric endocrinologist said "The prevalence of childhood obesity is rising in developing countries, including India".

The study found that 3.3 per cent or 358 children out of the total 10,842 were suffering from hypertension.
