National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey on obesity

According to  National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) held  between 2003 to 2006. The study was carried out for  seven day periods to  chase  physical activity of the participants.

In National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey Researchers examined the  exercise based on the on each session. During the study participants were classified into high  intensity (more than 10 minute or low intensity (less than 10 minute) .

1. Women  engaging in high-intensity, short period00 of exercise was linked to  decrease .07 in body mass index (BMI).
2. High intensity exercise resulted into  a 5 percent decreased in obesity in women and a 2 percent obesity in men.
